About me

A Colombian actor, dancer, circus artist, director and teacher, based in Berlin. His creations are an entanglement between body-movement, visual arts, objects and traditional circus.

In his work, Raúl explores and examines the body as a desiring organism, which is constantly, caused and mutated by different historical, social, cultural and political events. Tracing the body from Christianity to colonial modernity up to algorithmization.

From these perspectives, his artistic and pedagogical practice focuses in elaborating creatives strategies to search into what is and was invisibilized from the body, bringing afloat hidden speeches and potential narratives.
